i need help backing up a truck into a garage using only ONLY my side mirrors. i can do it, but i guess i can't do it correctly. pleasse help me and give me some tips cause i have failed 2 times now. we cant see out of the rear view mirror or we cannot look behind us or stick our head out the window. the canopy blocks our view. he guy told me someting about picking a line and reversing.

get out of town on a dirt road or in an empty parking lot and practice.... its the only way to learn/become better. Set up an orange cone or some other marker and use it for the left or right wall then practice until you get it figured out.

Try to line up straight with the garage. You may want to have another guy help guide you in for the first few times until you get a feel for it.

Picking a spot will help you get the rear end in straight and the front shouldn't be much of a problem, as long as you're close. good luck.

Any reason you want to back it in? I find it easier to back it out...
Just have someone direct you to get the feel. I see some of my neighbors back their large SUV's into the skimpy garages they make on the new houses these days.
