Yes, it wont hurt your car to wash it in the heat, however you definitely dont want to wax it when it's hot or sunny outside.

Washing it in the heat/sunlight will probably give you watermarks though, especially if you own a black (or other dark) car.

The key to washing your car when it is hot outside is to do smaller sections at a time. The problem is the soap dries on the car and will take away from the shine on the paint.

Never let the soap dry!.

Yes, but If the car drys to quickly when hot you could get sun spots(use small amount of vinegar to remove them) and small scratches may appear. But if you have to wash it, just don't wait to long. The sun can aid you in drying up the car quickly.

sure it is.

Just keep plenty of water on the car. Keep it wet, rinse more often and wash smaller sections at a time.

When you're done, find a nice big oak tree, and park the car under it and polish it to your hearts content.

Yes it is, although you may get hot, but it is not when you're polishing or waxing your car. That should be done when there's no sunlight or do it indoors.

yeah.. just make sure the car stays wet until you dry it with a towel or the dirt will just re-stick to the water drops.
