What are the chances Cuban purchases the Cubs and then spends big to get A-Rod? Soriano, A-Rod, D-Lee, Aramis Ramierez! Imagine that lineup!

I am a big time Cub fan and would love the possibility of Cuban owning the Cubs. If you think about it, it would be a perfect fit--Cub-an and the Cub-s. Our lineup would terrorize pitchers but we would need one more quality starter and a stronger bullpen.

I think Mark Cuban being an owner of an MLB team would be a refreshing change to the current owners that appear to be a bunch of stiffs.

I would like to see him own the Cubs. As far as A-Rod coming to the Cubs? It may happen. Lou Pinnella was his manager in Seattle and are very close.

It would be an awesome line-up to see at Wrigley. We'll see if A-Rod opts out of his contract. Have a feeling though he'll resign with the Yankees.

I'm not a Cubs fan, but I think it would be awesome if Cuban became the owner of the Cubs, however that's probably a long shot. And I don't see A-Rod leaving the Yankees. I have a feeling that he'll finish out his career as a Yankee.

Mark Cuban's chances of buying the Cubs are not very likly to happen. As for getting A-Rod, that will only happen if Cuban becomes the owner. And that is why Cuban will not get the chance to buy the team. MLB will not allow it to happen.

Purchasing the Cubs? Maybe.
Pickin' up A-Rod? Not a chance!

I'd love to see it, but I don't think it will happen. Assuming Cuban does buy the Cubs, the deal will not happen soon enough to make a major signing like that. I doubt ARod holds out long enough.

Neither of those two scenarios are going to happen.
