O'Reilly to San Francisco: "[I]f Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. ... You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead"
Criticizing a ballot measure passed by 60 percent of San Francisco voters urging public high schools and colleges to prohibit on-campus military recruiting, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly declared on the November 8 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, "[I]f Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off-limits to you, except San Francisco."

Are you soft quoting O'Reilly????? What would not having recruiters on campuses could do with al qaeda??? answer - no longer something!!!!! awaken. it particularly is the Democrats that are good on terror. it particularly is the Republicans that are susceptible on terror by way of helping a conflict in Iraq that has no longer something to do with the genuine conflict on terror, different than that it has taken our materials far off from it. you may desire to offer up listening to FOX and locate the certainty.

Bill was not encouraging an attack--SAN FRAN is by being the limp wristed, panty waisted libs they are. Bill was merely pointing that out--so when the Golden Gate bridge collapses with thousands of commuters on it--will San Fran want the military support THEN?

Uhm.
Was it OK for the Senate Majority Leader to declare the war in Iraq lost? I'm sure it had no effect on the morale of our troops, nor on the morale of the enemy. I'm sure the enemy didn't take it as a signal to attack us.
O'Reilly is a talking head. Reid is the Senate Majority Leader.
Perspective.
And the funny part is, Reid really DID say the war was lost. O'Reilly really didn't encourage al-Qaeda to attack the US.
Media Matters for America. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Because in spite of the fact that journalists vote and give 90%+ to Democrats, they slant the news toward Republicans.
In other news, up=down.

I no, I no, homo recruiters don't want any competition from military recruiters especially on campus. Now isn't that as stupid as your analogy. %$&*#% leftwing liberal. He was making a point. The limps don't want the military their, but would be the first to hollar if they were attacked and would want the portection of the military.

First of all, O'Reilly is not a Republican, he is an independant. He has done his share of criticizing the right as well. Secondly, you obviously have never listened to the show. The man is very sarcastic, as he was in this quoted statement. Unfortunately, his sarcasm tends to go over people's heads.

WRONG he said IF and did not encourage them to do it, I agree with him, there is nothing wrong with recruiters on campuses to recruit people, if you do not want to enlist then fine, his argument is that these campuses are saying NO to recruiters even though they receive government funds to operate and he's saying why should the military personnel defend these campuses when they are not allowed on the campuses just to recruit but allowed to come on the campus and possible sacrifice their lives to defend them against terrorists. GROW UP

There are still recruiting stations open and doing fine in the city of San Francisco. Anyone wishing to join may also go to any of the several cities in the SF Bay Area to enlist if that is their intent. All this law does is prohibit recruiters to come to school campuses to recruit. Since there are many other tools the Government can use for recruiting I doubt it will make much difference.

I don't encourage them, but I will *DARE* Al Queda to try and carry out another attack here. They cannot destroy America--which is more than just buildings--and they cannot force us to live in fear.
