Yes if they participate in the Shared deposit program, no if they don't. If you do the shared deposit, it could take up to 14 days before you can use the funds. That is why most people do not use them. A lot of banks do charge a fee both ways for Shared deposits.

I worked at a bank for 7 years and most of the time in the ATM department. You can go to ANY ATM machine that accepts deposits, make a deposit and not get charged a fee by that banks ATM or your own bank. DONT try to withdrawl $ from another banks ATM machine, you WILL get charged a fee.

No you can't use an ATM from another bank to make a deposit.

1) Most ATMs do not accept deposits any longer.

2) You must use your banks ATM to make a deposit if you find one that takes deposits.
