No.. when the account is suspended you can't even login.. and in most cases, your account is deactivated.

Your email still works if your account on Yahoo Answers is suspended. You can still receive emails, and sometimes some will come from Y!A for BA if your answer is picked as best even after you get suspended. It happened to me. But I still use my email as well as Yahoo Messenger and other Yahoo services on the account where I got suspended from Y!A. So to answer your question.....YES, someone can still receive email from Answers (though it would be hard to email that person THRU answers if you can not get to their answers profile because of suspension). You can still send regular emails to that person.
Just remember one thing, some people get their WHOLE YAHOO ACCOUNT suspended. That's EVERYTHING from Y!A to Yahoo Email to Yahoo messenger.

It appears there are different type of suspension and/or deletion. Some people lose everything, including email. Others report that only their Y!A account was deleted. So, in summary, it varies.

well the thing about emails is that they must have a set location to arrive at so if the location that it is trying to reach dosent exist then(which is what happens when your account is suspended) the it will not departure from its location towards yours.

i think so, that crazy monkey bubbles used to say he would get BA emails after his account was suspended, but i'm not sure if you can trust a monkey with these things.

It depends. If he/she was just suspended from Answers, then yes. If his entire account was suspended, then no - it's gone for good.

when they killed the first billy they killed everything, even 8 years of email, the next 2 billy's are dead in answers but still have email and still get best answers, go figure,

I just got stupid email about my questions needing attention. I was like, "Hello? I can't do anything about the questions." But, no, I couldn't get anything from my contacts.

yes, I've got them with absinthe long after I was suspended... as for pavic, it got a b/a last week, although I deleted it long time ago

it is the willy nilly thing, sometimes yes, sometimes no--but my last 10 or so suspensions, the answer has been NO.
