The best seafood resaurant in Seattle is Oceanaire.
El Gaucho is my favorite Seattle restaurant - but they also own The Waterfront Seafood Grill which is pretty amazing as well.

I grew up in and live in Florida and love seafood. The best seafood I have ever had anywhere is in Seattle at the pier 70 restaurant. ( this was within the last 4 months) I have attached the link. Elliotts is ok but touristy, they have a great oyster selection.

The name of the restaurant not named above is the Crabpot. It is tasty and quite the experience. Oceanaire is a great restaurant, but you should also try Etta's Seafood, a restaurant by the famous Tom Douglas. That is my favorite along with Chandler's Crabhouse.

The crab pot its down on the water front on E. Mmarginal way where the ferry boats come in. They serve your meal in a giant pot and dump it onto the table. You do not use silverware, just your hands. The fish is incredibly fresh, the vegtables are cooked with the fish, and the ruebar cake is outstanding. Elliots, by the way, don't waste your money.

when i was out to Seattle last month my brother-in-law insisted we eat at the seafood restaurant, Lowell's, at the Pike Place Market (2nd level is waitress/waiter service & 3rd level is where you sit cafeteria style after you order on the first floor and servers bring your food up to you). the fish & chips were great as was the calamari appetizer.

I tend to like Elliot's Oyster House, but it's in much more of a tourist-y area, thus attracting fewer locals. Worth a visit, though...

Anthony's Homeport. They have the BEST homemade clam chowder. They also make their own Caesar dressing and it is definitely the best I have ever had.
