When you were a child, what job did you want when you grew up?

A vet or a zoo keeper, or train dogs & horses for the police. I was a bit animal mad. lol

A pilot in the RAF after watching all the old war movies, or a marine commando because i read a lot of true war comics. The usual others astronaut, cowboy or Indian, deep sea diver, ship's captain or a celebrity like Kasparov the famous Russian chess player. Unfortunately I am none of the above but still happy.

I had various ones...I wanted to be a ballerina, then an astronaut, then a doctor, then a veterinarian, then a lawyer, then a doctor again, then a psychologist, then a doctor yet again, then a respiratory therapist , then a mental health therapist(this all ranges from childhood through college). Now I'm studying to be a social worker, so I can work as a therapist.

I wanted to be a scientist. I was a bit vague about what sort of scientist, just so long as I wore a white coat and did science stuff. The one thing I knew I never ever wanted to do was teach.

I wanted to drive one of those council roadsweepers, the ones with the brushes that clean the gutters, even today 40 years on when I see one I wish I could be the driver.

I wanted to be a model because people always told me how pretty I was. I grew up to realize it's a shallow and empty career, and I'm only 5'2 anyhow.

First I wanted to be a sailor , but that changed to wanting to be a baker , so my mum would always have something nice to eat . Later I wanted to become a journalist , but that fell through and I ended up in the post office

When I was 8 I wanted to be a magician, and then shortly after I wanted to be an architect. I know that's a weird combination. lol

i wanted to work with children and i did i was a nanny for 4 years and i still work with children as im now a full time mum and have been for 16 years
