Seeing how they are not fighting terror but playing referee in a ancient civil war.

Perhaps Bush and his supporters should be going after the extremists planning a Summer attack in America, instead of wasting more years, billion and troops in Iraq!

Saddam is dead, mission accomplished - now quit stalling in the oil Country and start going after real terrorists.

Lets remember now that there were no terrorists in Iraq before we invaded. And quit labeling everyone who is against occupation al-Qaida!

"War on Terror" - not - "A 5 year War to hand out Unwanted Democracy"

Get on it Con's

As in CON artists

I completely roll my eyes to this Lie of a war!! First off, no reason for going there, no reason to be there, therefore no reason for all this BS debate about bringing them home. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME!!!!

Everything this country has declared war on, just brings more of it. Just read the facts of what's happened after they declared war on things like: drugs, poverty, illiteracy, and now terror.

People over in the middle east are peaceful(well most, some are real extremists, but don't have the resources unless provided by our CIA). So we're supposed to believe that simple life folks can devastate the most technologically advanced defense system w/ box cutters. WAKE UP PEOPLE, TIME IS SHORT. They're already calling for a huge terrorist strike (for awake people, huge staged attack) this summer. Hopefully the truth will expose these criminals and it won't happen.

For a second I roll my eyes then get angry. Tired of the BS we are handed. The only war on terror that should be fought is against our corrupt government with a revolution.
Lets try peacefully first.
Ron Paul to save the country.
Only man speaking truths in this neocon nightmare.
Dont think for a second that Obama or clinton will do anything but buisness as usual.
Time for the suckers to cash in and wake up to this dictatorship before we find ourselves in martial law.
Bush is setting the stage and they are ready.
Look up fema camps on you tube for the nay sayers and all that want to be informed.

I'm with those who believe it's purely about money - when Rumsfeld announced that the Pentagon has "lost" a trillion dollars (since increased to two trillion) there was hardly a peep from Bush, the Congress, or the media. Then the no-bid contracts, the endless war, the phoney excuses why the world's most powerful army can't maintain order, etc., etc. Keep the suckers looking the other way while the adminstration drains the Treasury...

All of the "war on..." terror, drugs, teenage pregnancy, etc... is just a way for the ruling class to take my tax dollars and fund some stupid program that will not work and often makes the problem worse, not to mention the ensuing loss of freedoms. My eyes do roll when I hear this crap. RON PAUL 2008 - he's our only hope to right the sinking ship that is this country.

Yep. It is all a whole bunch of BS but can you imagine the riots if the media were to even ask the right questions about what is going on?

It's like the Matrix people rather continue to live their happy lives than to know the truth.

I believe the War on Terror is actually an ideological war against Islamist Militants. In order to neutralize them we need the mainline Musllims to marginalize the extremists from Islamic society. All al-Qaeda needs to succeed is for the mainline Muslims to accept that they are fighting a just war. Then al-Qaeda will take over their government with a Taliban-type government. Their plan is to rule the middle east, control the world's oil, and establish radical militant Islam as a world power. And yes, al-Qaeda is very active in Iraq and they hope to rule Iraq soon.

Killing the followers of militant Islam will not win the war.. Killing their foot-soldiers will not win the war. You need to kill their leadership, and Islam needs to join the modern world, and once and for all time, condemn their radical elements.

Yes, I have been for the last 5 years.

There isn't so much as a "war on terror" as there is massive profits and govt. subsidies for the military contractors and the industrial complex.

Just look how much higher the stock prices for all the major military contractors have risen over the last 5 years.

Yep. Just like a roll my eyes when all the NON-enlisted Reps/Cons call us "cut and runners" for not wanting to continue a pointless war.

CON as in CONvict?
