I beg to differ. They are going to try to ban guns soon enough, whether they do it by false flag attacks, overpowering the public, Spreading infectious diseases that kill off half of the population, or some kind of mass brainwashing...they will do it.

Does it become a utopia? No. A Utopia, by its very definition, is a place that cannot exist. Does it become a place where nobody is murdered? No. There is no country, either with or without guns, that does not have murder.
However, advocates of gun control are not trying to create a utopia. They are trying to reduce deaths from guns. American children are more at risk from firearms than the children of any other industrialized nation. The hard truth, whether gun owners want to believe it or not, is that fewer people, including children, would die if gun control was introduced.
So, to answer your question, when governments disarm the people, the crime rate decreases. Whether it increases it enough to warrant gun control is probably out of the scope of this question.

Was it a utopia when cocaine become illegal? And I assume no one is using it?
I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who once said that men should absolutely be armed. What do you think is more likely to happen, a man with a gun robbing a another who may fight back with a gun of his own? Or, a man with a gun robbing a man who he KNOWS is unarmed? Robbings and murders would simply increse because there would be nothing for the robbers and murderers to fear. You really think making gun ownership illegal is going to do anything???

What happens? Only the crooks and cops have guns then. Just look at the mess in Mexico. Its hard to differentiate who the crooks and the cops are.
And ultimately, the people have no voice or platform to speak out upon.

When governments disarm the people, it means that their next step is taking the dissenters off to concentration camps, which already exist in just about every state.

You bet, because as we all know, banning something makes what's in circulation already magically disappear. That why Prohibition and the War on Drugs worked so well. You sure don't see any alcoholism or drug addiction any more, do you?

If the question is, if people are not murdered after governments disarm the people, my answer would be, only if these governments were democratically elected, after free and fair elections, which are not basically choosing between two evils, and without "Nazis Vs. Jews" style propaganda.

you get a government with absolute power. that will never happen in America. it is a guaranteed right given by our Constitution. this would not affect the crime rate as honest citizens don't commit crimes and this would not deter the criminals.
