The next President is going to be to busy with all the world problems to deal with making our lives better. Social service programs will never be what they were in the past because they cost to much to run them and they don't work well. Probably the main issues will be, the war in Iraq, immigration and health care. Peace

A President that works with Congress would be a good idea. Bush, whether you agree with his policies or not, has scant disregard for the separation of powers that are a major part of the Constitution. After 8 years of partisanship, the president, whether Democrat or Republican, will need to be one that unites the country again and reminds people of all races, religions and political persuasions that there is more that unites them than separates them.

Oh solid lord! What an idiotic presumption. in the beginning, the probabilities that the U.S. might invade Mexico are slender and none. Secondly, the international's terrific combating stress against a gaggle of peasants and drug sellers is a no-brainer. Mexicans may be slinking back around the border with their collective tails between their legs. they won't even combat to maintain their u . s . a . now! they might quite run over the border and suck off of the huge ol' American teat. What makes you think of that they might combat to maintain it if it have been invaded? And thirdly, as parts of the yank southwest have been occupied by ability of Mexico for sort of 30 years out of the 230 years america has been a rustic, i might say that their declare to possession isn't only slippery, yet thoroughly and laughably ludicrous as properly. Fox is to Bush what Monica replaced into to Clinton. As a prior due addition to my reaction, I appeared up the Mexican reaction to hurricane Katrina, which made landfall in New Orleans on August 29, 2005. right here it particularly is: "The contributors of congress of the Federal District pledged an afternoon of earnings each on September 7, to be sent to those tormented by ability of Katrina. The national fee of Water sent bottled water and canned food upon request. Naval deliver Papaloapan arrived the comparable day, with 389 infantrymen and different workers from the Mexican military. gadgets of the Mexican military, an entire of 194 human beings, arrived by ability of land with 40 5 protection stress automobiles." i think of you overvalued or overexaggerated Mexico's reaction by ability of only a tad, did not you Don J?

What good old days indeed? Seems like now's the good old days. Stock market at fourteen thousand, unemployment below five percent, low inflation, low interest rates, low taxes. What's not to like. Hopefully the next president and congress will know that if it ain't broke it don't need fixin'.

A US withdrawal from Iraq, the former Yugoslavia, the UN, NATO and the ICTY/ICTFY. Plus no more wars of aggression. In other words, I pray that either Kucinich or Ron Paul will be elected president, please God. I would like to add, that I fail to see how it is possible to be close to God, while supporting injustice institutions, which distort facts, such as the ICTY.

Oooh! You are clearly asking a Politically biased question!
Of any Governmental "programs" I can mention none.
MY RECOMMENDATION is to re-ignite a "Reagan attitude" to the White House. Provide an Inspiring Leader who knows how to persuade with true leadership.

I don't think that it is society's responsibility to help a family with many children. People shouldn't have more children than they can afford. It's called personal responsibility.

What good old days? You mean, the 90s, under Clinton? Remember, it was under him that 9/11 was planned, and the 1st attack on the towers took place. remember that? And I want to know why people who indulge themsevles with many children expect other tax payers, who have their own children, to help them with theirs. Its called family planning and being resposible.
