If she really feels that it was a non-threatening (though destructive) incident, then she can ignore it, if she chooses. But if she knows for sure that it was done intentionally to her car because of issues with someone else, then it would be wise to call the police as soon as possible. As her friend, you should listen to her. If she doesn't feel that it's a big issue then ignore it. But if you can tell that there's something wrong, then you should sit down with her and seriously talk to her about what's going on, and hopefully she'll let you in on it. Good luck!

Okay I think she should report this to the police, she may not have a crazy ex boyfriend or crazy someone. That does not mean that this person may think she is someone else in their psycho delusional mind. She may look enough like another person to get some weirdo after her. I don't think she should get paranoid but a little precaution may not be a bad idea. She should make sure she locks her doors and not go to places that aren't real public by herself for a while.

No big deal! Someone is probably being stupid and mean for keying the car in the first place. I wouldnt worry if she didnt have a stalker or an ex or anyone like that!

If her car was vandalized, she really should file a report with the police dept. It could happen again, and it will be on record for her insurance company.

Sounds like your friend is the victim of some kind of stalking.....if the perp said "I am back", it indicates that she might have some prior knowledge of someone being unkind or mean to her. If she is so willing to forget about it - she might know who it is - and does not have a problem with it. If I were you - I would not worry. When she expresses some concern - then you can respond.
PS I might limit my travel time with her though......smile

You are right...not only for the threat but also for a police report to turn in to her insurance company so she can get it fixed.

If she doesn't think it's a big deal, maybe it was a case of mistaken identity. If she has a crazy stalker ex, she should make a report.

Does she have anyone in her past that would want to harass her? If she has she should atleast report it, that way she'll have some sort of time line should this esculate into something more than vandalism.
