I'm an American. It is past time for people to stop being a good Democrat; to stop being a good Republican; and to start being a good American.

Neither, and I hate the fighting between them. We need to recognize that both sides are capable of truth and lies, good and bad ideas. The more you fight, the more you solidify your stance in ignorance, so why don't we abandon this affiliation nonsense that truly is controlling the United States?

We need to be given the real facts from our media and government, that government which is supposed to be of the people, for the people, and by the people. Then, we need to each take the responsibility of thinking for ourselves, of considering every option and choosing the course of action we believe will produce the best results. We don't need to be TOLD what to think and do! You're caught up in it if you're one of the bickerers.

As much as I hate the system of our republic, I'll vote for the candidate who confronts the issues best and seems willing to listen to the people rather than himself - that's his job, after all. I refuse to vote purely based on Democrat or Republican labels.

I grew up Republican, I however believe one should VOTE on the Person and not the stupid Ticket of Republican or Democrat.

Personally, I can hardly stand listening to ANY politician, Hilalary is soooo full of herself, she says one thing then afterwards changes her Mind, like on the IRAQ War she was for it, now listen to her...If her cheating husband was busy watching out for this Country while in Office Osama would have been taken out, he had that chance and chose not to take it!!!!

Then we have Obama, bragging about how much $$$ he has earned, HELLLO anyone Home.....

So far I don't see ANY ONE person who should be elected to Office of the President....

I would rather be on the Republican ticket than the democratic one, where anything goes...When things get tough they run away.....With that said, I can't say I like the idea that our guys are over in Iraq getting slaughtered, again if Clinton took out Osama when he had the chance we wouldn't still be looking for him today....

Is it any wonder why so many countries HATE the United States when Our Leadership is the way it is and only looking to get worse?

I am an old line new deal Democrat. I am more like FDR than Bill Clinton. I believe it is the government's duty to take care of the less fortunate. Not simply with Social Security, which King George II tried to scuttle, selling it to the stock market, but also with national health care, national child care, even food and blood banks (not both together).

I am a Democrat because I care about people, and not content preaching my morality to them while I'm busy cheating on my wife.

I'm not a Republican't because I'm not a hateful, short-sighted, hypocrite who preaches campaign finance reform while taking money from big business and voting to keep other people's kids in Iraq.

I'm sick of both. I was a Howard Dean supporter in 04 and voted for Kerry. This time I'm supporting Tom Tancredo.

I am Unaffiliated.. I was a registered Democrat for years, but after all that Clinton junk and some some junk by the local Democrats where I live, I switched to unaffiliated, but I do lean towards Republican now. Most democratic values do not agree with my own. I don't agree with abortion or same-sex marriage, etc.

My entire family is democrat. I am registered democrat but usually vote independent. I have some traditional republican views and some views that would be considered non-traditional.

I am a Jeffersonian conservative and as such don't belong to either the welfare party or the warfare party. The best alternative for me is either the Libertarian party or the Constitution Party. If more people would do their homework and stop subscribing to the broken, corrupt two-party system, this country would be much better off.

Was a D then Clinton. Was an R then Bush II, now I'll vote for a non hypocrite, anti-illegal immigration person who will tell congress when it's time to shut their mouths when they are wrong.
