I LOVE Nickelback. What the heck are you talking about? Yes, their music has meaning, if you happen to listen to the lyrics. Sometimes a few songs sound similar, but all the songs don't sound the same. You can't honestly say "Side of a Bullet" and "If Everyone Cared" sound the same. And if people don't see the point to the songs, maybe they need to actually listen to the lyrics. I dare Nickelback haters to sit down and listen to "Never Again".

Nickleback sucks yet they still pwn many other popular bands out there. I don't like them because every song of theirs I have ever heard sounds exactly the same with different crappy lyrics. The guitar tracks consist of boring, repetitive, plain chord progressions. Their song "Rockstar" ironically has more of a country influence in it.

I was given a song that just made me have zero appreciation for the band. The song took two Nickelback songs and panned one of the songs hard left and the other hard right and combined them. The result was the same song, just with a mash of the two song lyrics.
Two songs that are the same chord structure, rhythm, tempo...just different lyrics. That's not really that great of a talent.
It just made me have zero interest in the band, and wish they would stop wasting perfectly good broadcasting time that could be given to bands and artists with more talent in their little finger than them.

Because everything they've done since "The State" sounds exactly the same. The lyrics are boring, the songs are repetitive, and when you break it down, they're really just a loud country band. Also I think it has something to do with that stupid long hair and goatee thing.

I don't hate them, but I do strongly dislike them. They sound so plain and boring that I can barely stand it and they bring nothing new and original to the music scene. Their lyrics are yucky and their cds dn't really "flow." I really dislike them, but hey, if you like it that's cool.

I don't really like their music, because I personally don't like the lead singer's voice, and I don't really get the meaning of their songs.

Because they suck.
Seriously... all of their songs sound exactly the same, and they're all obviously churned out for radio. The singer has no range, and the rest of the band have no deviation in their approach to playing.

I just think they are so boring!
They may have fitted in better in the early nineties but they just seem like a bad version of (other bands).

I think they are so over-rated. The lead singer sounds like he has a frog in his throat, and the songs do sound the same.
