It's called Money (That's What I Want), and it was originally sung by The Beatles but I found one remake by a group called the Flying Lizards. Here's the lyrics below (they're the same for both versions):

CTU is right about the title. That song has been around for a long time. The Beatles did it on one of their early albums, but they didn't write it. It was first recorded by Barrett Strong in 1959.

The version you heard is probably the cover by The Flying Lizards. The title is: Money (That's What I Want).
The wikipedia article lists many more bands that have covered it.

yeah, its definitely originally by the beatles, the flying lizards remade it same title same lyrics, slight musical changes but definitely the song and who you are talking about ;)
