I am not sure how to do this one either!!

3x2+23x-36
=3x2+27x-4x-36
=3x(x+9)-4(x+9)
=(x+9)(3x-4).

(3x-4)(x+9)

The numbers without the x (-4,+9) always multiply to the number without the x (-36) in the original. The rest is trial and error.
