Are the old favourites like these and blue-mouth sweets, nail through finger, squirty cameras etc etc still popular? Do they make you laugh or do you consider them childish or old hat? What ones do you like? Pls give yr age when answering as I'm interested in what age groups find what funny. thanks

No. I think they are juvenile but then, I'm over 50.

Having said that, there are some things that annoy me now as an adult - I believe that everything has its place and there is a time and season for everything under the sun. When I am teaching class, no matter how funny it might be to a student (child) - it is a major disruption and a distraction and is foolish.
Now - after class, when we are all relaxing and having fun, some of the things you mentioned are okay - but whatever the joke- one must be careful that you don't cause injury to others.
For example - I had a student who was very gullible and naive. Several students thought it would be a joke to open the small pack of pellets they put in new shoe boxes or purses and pour them in her hand. They told her it was "pop rocks" and to 'lick it'. She started to. Even though it was a joke to 'them' -it almost cost the school a lawsuit.
Some jokes, no matter how innocent can be harmful if you play it on the wrong person.

I liked all those gags....when I was 12. My favorite was the disappearing ink. I'm 28 now and am not as amused with them anymore.

There's this joke shop in Pismo, CA.
It has like everything in there.
I do think, in a way, they are immature,
but they always make me laugh, always.
I like when the joke is on someone else,
not me.!

I like putting fake insects or snakes in unsuspecting places. Like in my roomates bed or in their drawer. 22
