The Irish will do just fine. While they did graduate a lot of talent, they have good, quality people waiting there turn. They just lack game experiance. The switch to the 3-4 defensw should also help. Look for them to win 8-9 games and get a decent bowl game. Michigan and USC are LOADED but the rest of the schedule are all winable games. GO IRISH!!!

Eh...well, their bowl game was totally embarrassing - like OSU-style. They lost a few good, key players. Let's hope their defense gets better. There were a couple games last season that their defense basically gave away. That's no good.
I lump these guys in with U of M - they are ALWAYS ranked too high at the start of the season. The Ws and the Ls don't lie...they'll fall where they need to fall once the season progresses.
I think they need a new coach, but that's just MHO.

I don't think much will change this year, they'll win enough games to be bowl eligible and play against a good team because of the crowd they draw, but in the next 2-3 years I think they'll be a lot better. They've been pulling in a lot of recruits, although they haven't been using clean methods to do so, but they have a lot of talent that they haven't had for 8-10 years.
