One theory says it is a bat that feeds on goat blood. Of course the media here in Mexico made a big fuzz about the Chupacabras being some sort of vampire just at the time former president Salinas de Gortari stole millions of dollars and ran away to Ireland. It is a cover up for his doings and how deep the government was involved.

The Chupacabras legend started here in Puerto Rico when some goats and chickens appeared drained of blood. Initially everybody thought of "Santeria" (witchcraft), but then one day a guy was taking a dump in the woods and something was next to him on a tree. He made a sketch of it and a stupid television show called "Ocurrió Así" interviewed him and it became El Chupacabras. Since this show was seen all over Latin America in Telemundo, el Chupacabras started to be seen everywhere and reported in the show. What was never explained: How did it get from one country to another in a day? How did it reproduced? They even showed weird skeletons presumed to be of dead Chupacabras.

Well, anyway, the Chupacabra legend started with crap and that's all it was.

The truth will never be spoken by members of our government...................................................

Chupacabras have never been really proven to be existant, but it is an interesting topic. Many think it is an alien creature, or perhaps just an unknown animal that has seemed to started popping up in the last decade. It's hard to provide realistic pics when there is no evidence of there existance to begin with. Try going to http://www.abovetopsecret.com

Mad_twinkle is right. This whole thing was used to divert the publics attention from Salinas de Gortari. Is it any coincidence that it never re-surfaced again?
