i used to be the fighter type. i grew tired of it and decided to flow with the majority but it took me to some place i thought i belonged but i didnt. now im pretty much stagnant. i know better now to follow my own flow even if it means getting washed down alone. at least i get to end up at a place of my own liking.

Good question...I TRY to go with the flow but usually I end up battling against it and causing myself more stress. I think this happens because I'm the type of person who always over thinks a situation (if that makes sense) or there are times when I just act out even if I know it will have a negative outcome.

Lately I've found myself trying to plan my life..but when things didn't work out ..I would be disappointed and upset.I noticed that was all the time.I didn't/don't want to be that person. Now I just go with the flow..it's easier and i realized that there are things you can't plan or control, for that matter.Plus it's a more of a relaxed state. One thing that helped me realize this was a quote by Albert Einstein....."Learn from yesterday,LIVE today, hope for tomorrow." It takes to much time to plan and life is to great to let it past by!

It depends. If I am facing my own demons or character defects I am a warrior. Jesus stated,"the violent take the Kingdom by storm". Then again, if it is just life as usual, even if it is tough, I will attempt to go with with flow, if that is what I truly am led to by the Spirit. True wisdom is knowing when to act & when to stay still.

No battle here; but I tend to direct the flow so that I can glean the important aspects of life and let the meaningless wash away.

this is a good question, i think once you reach that certain point in life where you start to realize you can no longer battle with life any longer you start to go with the flow...

i personally go with the flow of things, because you never know whats coming or whats going..

now other people who love DRAMA try to battle every little issue in life and they will soon learn it lead them to nowhere in the end.

Hi Friends !

I do not "flow", nor do I try to "battle" I joyfully strive as a Divinely Beloved son of God in Jesus Christ here in Spirit to help make a better world, one individual son of God at a time.

Only Spirit-transformed human sons of God can help make a transformed world into our certain Destiny of Light and Life !

Peace and progress,

This is a great journaling question!

I would *like* to go with the flow of life, and I think it is my intention to, but I think I battle it without realizing! More accurately, I think I feel more like I can't *find* the flow to follow it. Like, I got off in the woods somewhere, and can't find my way back to the river. :)

For the most part, I try to go with the flow. However, sometimes the current takes you into battle. :-) I hope your day/night is great, as well.

I don't TRY to flow with my life. I Do flow with my life. Like water going down stream. Seriously, life isn't something you should mess with.

EDIT: If you meant like "go with the mainstream" then no. I still flow, but I flow with MY life, not just the standard. My Life's stream is full of tributaires, and I get to choose which to go down.
