My pet goldfish Lou called me today from the Bahamas, with great difficulty (the circuits were constantly busy). He, his wife and the triplets went there by boat (because they didn't have passports for air travel), to meet Lou's cousin. Priscilla Piranha, whom Lou dumped for his wife, hijacked the boat and tried to reach Cuba, but was stopped, and sent to prison by helicopter. The boat then turned to the Bahamas.
They enjoy their stay immensely: the cousin's aquarium is very
comfortable, with a spacious castle, the food is excellent. They did some scuba diving and snorkeling. The triplets got rods and wanted to catch some humans, but their parents forbade them.
Lou says they would like to stay on for indifferent period of time.
What should I do? It's is quiet and boring without them.

Let them stay and enjoy themselves. It's not everyday goldfish get to have an extended vacation. I understand you are lonely with Lou and the family away, but they will return sooner or later.

wow, that sounds outta this world :)......hmmmm, well, you really love your pet goldfish, just as i would if i were you ;), hmmmmm i would support him, and congradulate him on the triplets thats WONDERFUL!!!! and priscilla sounds pretty scary and i have a friend who is a shark who will protect lou and his wife, hmmmmm, whats his wifes name by the way? i wish them the best, and i think you should think about getting a pet turtle ok??? or maybe a frog, or a dog persay? hmmmm, but either way lou is a big fish he should make decisions on his own and maybe he will come see you every now and again if you support him and keep his friendship, you think???

Wow!!!! That's the same exact place my parents told me that my dog Buster went to. But I guess he liked it there really much cause he left when I was 8 and he STILL hasn't come back. I hope your goldfish don't stay away so long on 'doggie vacation' too.

Yeah, that kind of sucks. I think you should find a new friend to keep you company until Lou comes to his senses and realizes how much he misses you.

Of course we'd all miss Lou, but you have to consider his happiness, and that of the wife and trips.

Let him stay. I can't imagine that it wouldn't still be quiet and boring if he returned, although I guess the triplets might raise a ruckus occasionally.

Wish him a good time & let him live it up - he's having a blast!
He can always visit you or you can take some time off & enjoy the island breeze with him....
