I asked the same question...What age can you fall in love?..I asked it under polls and surveys, and singles and dating...the p&s people mostly think love has no age...or pretty much all of them...and the singles and dating poeple some say that there is an age to love...why is that?..♥♥♥

It's all relative. One person might be mature and selfless enough to love at 15 while another wouldn't EVER be mature and selfless enough.

Because different people are drawn to the different catagories on YA, and it's a likely assumption that the answers will vary. People who been dating and are single have probably had more experience with the subject and know that true love and the meaning of the word comes with age. When we are younger we think we are in love, but it's not the true love you experience with someone when you have had a serious realationship. Puppy love is easy to mistake as "in love" when you are a teen.

Interesting. I would have thought it would be the other way around.
Singles and dating section seems to be full of kids. It seems likely that kids would say no age because they think they have already been in love.
P/S seems to have more adults and we know that the ability to really love comes with maturity.
Or am I the one who is way off here?

Polls and surveys covers all types of people, not just single and dating. I think that would mean you are getting more feedback from different types in all walks of life, which to me is better than just one type of perspective.

There is more than one type of love. You love your parents when you are born and vise versa. Romantic love comes later and you can have a "crush" at a young age that is not sexual.

Any age.
But people say you cannot know true love until you have experienced broken hearts.
And I say I am in love but my cousin says I don't know it yet, and I am 13.
I think you need experience of attraction, before you can experience love.
And you won't ever question that you are in love when you are, so you aren't yet...

i dunno, some kids, like, 12 or 13 yrs old arn't feeling love. thats a superficial crush, or lust. Real love takes maturity, to be able to work through differences and disagreements with an open mind and to not dismiss what they think, thinking you are always the right one. Real love takes Balls. it is always uncertain and kids have a hard time with uncertainty.
