Lib logic seems to be "well they hate us, they must have a good REASON for it, even if the action itself is wrong."

Well then why do the radical shia hate the radical sunni? The different groups who hate and try to kill us also hate and try to kill each other - - and around the world they hate and try to kill people of other religions on a regular basis - - radical muslims off a few Buddhists in southern Thailand on a weekly basis....

Doesn't that pretty much mean that whatever you think of us, however bad we might be, that's NOT the reason the terrorists are trying to kill us?

Clyde I'm not Christian, and I'll take your word for it that the Christians in your area hate everyone who doesn't follow their brand of Christianity.

But I'll bet Hadiths to Hashish they aren't trying to KILL everyone who doesnt' follow their brand of Christianity.

Libs believe that the terrorists are really nice people deep down inside. We've been misunderstanding them all this time.....Bahahahahahah. I love how the liberal mind works. Or should I say doesn't work.

I don't say they don't hate us, as it would be foolish to do so. However, you are foolish to believe that the actions of the US in the middle east have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with terrorism recruitment rates etc. How could this possibly be so? A man doesn't suddenly hate his neighbour for no reason, he hates his neighbour for stealing his car.

The radical Muslims in Thailand have very little to do with the radical Muslims in Iraq - they have little in common other than their religion and their radicalism. The terrorists in Thailand are seperatists who want their own country, in much the same way that the IRA were - however the IRA had nothing to do with abortion clinic bombers, other than they were both Christians.

US policy in Iraq and in regards to Israel IS partially to blame for terrorism. You cannot flagrantly abuse a people and not expect to incur their wrath. Of course, it is not the only factor which contributes to it - some of them would shoot just about anyone, even fellow Muslims. Whether or not this anger is justified is another matter - but to say that US policy has nothing to do with terrorism is just utterly laughable.

Get the heck outta here, for real?

I thought they hated Americans because conservatives say that we are rich and free? I must have been confused.

One thing you forgot to mention that a lot of terrorist that hate America also hate the fact that we have government buildings in places like Saudi Arabia that they feel we don't belong there.

Radicals preach hate, the misinterpert any religion and use to destroy. Look at Fred Phelps, he wants to start a war on people because of how he views the bible.

Well, they don't understand the religion well I guess. Bottom line is that if you are not Muslim, you are an infidel, and according to their school of thought, if you convert, then you have been saved, but if you reject, they will kill you. So how can we be at fault for their extremism? How are we to blame that they teach hate in school (Madrasas)? Even if they rid the world of Jews, Christians, Buddhist, Hindu's, and all other religions, they would turn around and fight amongst themselves........

Not exactly. I think they hate everyone who gets in the way of their brand of Islam.

What they perceive as getting in the way of their Islam who knows. But I don't see Al Qaeda wanting to attack Ecuador, or Mexico for example. Those two neither follow their brand nor impede their brand.

As monstrous as they are, they're just human. They have goals and interests just like us. If we were in no way involved with what they're doing, I doubt they'd care about us at all.

But we have interests too. It seems our economic interests, collide with their religious interests. Our best option is to aggressively kill them all (terrorist ideologues not Muslims). Make them worry more about staying alive today, than killing us today. And do that everyday until they're all gone.

No one is defending terrorists. However, if we change our foreign policy, we can avoid conditions that might breed more of them. We can also get moderates in some of these nations on board to help us fight them. The war in Iraq has fueled hatred against us and created far more terrorists than we've eliminated.

Yes, it's been pretty damn obvious for YEARS.

BTW, that would be ISLAMIC terrorists.
Tim McVeigh wasn't muslim, nor was the Unibomber.

Terrorists come in various faiths and mantras, and said extremists don't tolerate anything outside their own warped thought pattern.

Of course, what a silly question.

Please inform me when we get serious about fighting those terrorists and say catching bin Laden.
