For the past several months, ever since my sexuality was re-awakened, I have been down because the man I wanted is not in my life. I really want to have a good relationship with a man.
Last week I met a nice man. He is crazy about me but I am not sexually attracted to him.
What the hell is wrong with me? I know it is stupid to settle, and I won't; but why do we want the ones we can't have and don't want the ones who want us?
That just sucks!

Been there. Definitely sucks. I kept meeting beautiful men who didn't want me, and ugly men who did want me. I may be shallow, but I have to be at least a tiny bit attracted to the men I date.
Not to sound too cliche, but the right man will come along. At least, he did for me. I met a man who adores me, and I adore him. Four years later, it's still good. Of course, I was 25 when I met him, and he was 31. Some people consider us late bloomers. Considering I know some women who are in their 50s and still looking, I think it's all just a matter of time.

This is par for the course! We want what we can not have and don't want what we can have. It's the whole cat and mouse thing. Once the chase is over psychologoically we no longer are interested. The chase is the factor! If we can't have someone the chase still exists!

Agree, been there, but that is a question that is hard to answer but it is the truth. But ya never should settle, always go for the one that makes your tummy do flip flops, and your heart melts when you see him.

I am odd in that if a man just adores me, it is very seductive...if he didn't like me that is a big turn-off...of course I don't mean anyone who loves me but if I like them and they adore me, that is very charged!

my wife isn't the hottest honey of the bunch, but she's laid back, cool as hell, and she loves me.
