I just went to look for a book about the holy roman empire and there wasn't a book specifically about it although some books had sections about it.

Could anyone recommend a good one for me?

Christianity came to the Roman empire under the empror Constantine in around 320AD, the only book I can think of has a title which is something like "Christ in the early Roman Empire", but the Roman Empire ended in the year 400AD, I have heard a very secular argument that Christianity had something to do with the end, where as the end came because army was devided into two and both sides started to fight each other.

I'm guessing you mean the empire after the fall? It wasn't until the Roman Empire declined that it turned into teh Holy Roman Empire..... I guess thats why some historians feel that the empire, as such, never fell, but turned into something else...and some historians feel it is still an empire of sorts, because of the domination of the Roman Catholic Church, with its seat in Rome....
anyway, heres a list of some good books....

The bible 'cos it was the holy roman emperor Constantine the great who collected it together to be the bible and still shows the roman mentality.
Failing that you could try Gibbons "The decline and fall of the Roman empire" this is always a good place to start.
Of course if you want to know about the darkage/medieval holy roman empire then "Charlemagne" by Roger Collins is also a good place to start.

Brillant book 'The Holy Roman Empire' by Frederich Heer (translated by Janet Sondheimer'), published 1995 by Phoenix.

Its pretty exhaustive - 285 pages.

Don't know about a book but there are some excellent podcasts on Byzantium (the proto-Holy Roman empire) on the apple pod cast site - they're free.
