The rear end of a car. O_O I won't lie, I did not get the front end off of the ground--it was a big honking station wagon, something like a late 70s model, and a total boat.
But the short of it was, I was helping a neighbor swap out the rear end of his car (the axle and suspension bits), and one day, the jack slipped and I had to lift the rear end so he could get out from under the thing....even so, I was only able to budge the thing a few inches, just for long enough for him to squeeze out. He had bruised ribs for a while, but nothing broken.
Then again....I was a teenager back then. This was *way* before my shoulder injury, and back when I had a lot more hormones going on, so...
Yeah, that's about it with me. ^_^ Thanks for your time!
(oh, and the heaviest thing I lifted completely off the ground was more like a refrigerator....my family moved around a lot when I was younger, and I was the go-to-guy for stoves, refrigerators, and so on....)
