Go for a Vegas theme instead...Luau and mardi gras are so played out!

i am from the ms/la area.
mardi gras should only be used around feb!!! so I would go with the luau/beach since it is summer time...

properly, like everybody else has stated... bead are substantial! Snazzy jazz song would be super! and classic cajun variety foodstuff... crawfish, po'boys, beignets and chicory coffee! and don't ignore the Hurricanes! (beverages this is!) A Pat O'Briens New Orleans staple!!
