I don't think it's something too serious. Maybe stress (if you were more than usual stressed at that time), or medicine (if you were taking some) caused that problem. Just, don't be afraid and everything will be better. But, if you are still afraid, after all these answers you got, try with a short call, or a visit to your doctor. And, remember: no fear, be happy, keep your smile! By the way, do you come from Croatia? MRKVICA means CARROT, doesn't it? Please answer!

No there is nothing wrong if you are sure you are not pregnant. I don't understand why woman think they have to have a period every month.....IT IS A 100% NORMAL FOR US TO SKIP A PERIOD HERE AND THERE. It's is not normal if you do this on a regular basis. You body is most likely changing cycles, which is what it is supposed to do. For some woman that means skipping a month, for some that means starting early for others that means starting later. Our daily lives do in fact effect our periods. Getting the flu, being stressed out, taking a new medication etc. I would not worry unless you skip more than one in a row and as long as your 100% sure there is not a chance of being pregnant.

It's probably nothing. Anything can affect a womans cycle: stress, diet, exercise, illness. Give it a little bit longer, worrying about it like you are may actually make it ever later than it already is. If you don't get it in a week or so, call the doctor and get in just so you can see what's going on. Stop stressing about it though. Hope this helps. :-)

Before I was on the pill my period got out of wack. I would go 45 days some time without having one. So....wait a few more days and then ask your Dr. if it does not start.

Stree, change in diet, change in exercise, illness. I wouldn't worry. Sometimes a woman just misses a period for no apparent reason. If you don't get it in the next month or two, talk to your doctor.

If you're not practicing any sort of risky behavior (this would include fingering, just so you know), then there's nothing to be scared about. Sometimes people just skip periods. If you're THAT upset, then make an appointment with your doctor.

Are you hanging out with a new group of girls?
I know it sounds strange but your body will "compete" with other girls, so that it will sometimes change so that you will have your period at the same time as your friends have theirs.

I have ovarian cysts pretty frequently, and have the same thing happen. I'll have everything but the cramps. Sometimes mine are only a month then I'll be heavy the next month.
