Well, Democrats have been doing it for Decades, promoting their Socialist Ideals. Yes, Republicans have been attempting to manipulate the public, though I don't see it so much in the war as their promotion of opening the borders, and expanding globalist positions, a possible North American Union, basically their own Socialist Ideals.
War is war, we were attacked. Better darn well do something about it. Americans used to refuse to be defeated... no longer. Now many desire it.
Socialism abounds in both parties and most definately in our govenrment. We the people need to fight back and regain our American System.

My daughter is station in Iraq. She's a truck and has to go out into the country. She says that she feels that they are accomplishing the missing. Their biggest complaint is that people who have no vested interest in the war is causing a moral problem. They want to finish their job. Daughters biggest complaint is that food is terrible, so I send her care packages with snacks and fruit

i think this war in iraq is stupid as hell, kinda like vietnam!! what the hell are we fighting for??? All of this power that the u.s. has, we could just bomb iraq and end this war instead of hanging around getting our troops killed!! it's a death mission!! and we coul'd have already been done with this all!! kinda like how we blow up buildings then rebuild them?? what the hell they didn't rebuild the twin towers after they blew them down!!

sorry to go off like this!! but i have family and friends over there right now fighting for our freedom, whenever the real war is in the u.s. right now!!

This has been the case for as long as governments have been established. The manipulation of people is nothing new.

Terrorism has been a threat to us for decades and it will continue to be a threat. Nobody should ever feel comfortable. We should always assume that terrorist attacks are being plotted and prepared at any given time. As long as there is religious extremism out there, terrorism is a threat. Actually, according to that terrorism report, we are at risk of being attacked by extremist environmental groups as well, so I should say as long as there are extremists out there, we are at risk.
