What PNAC is too stupid to grasp is that mobile small cells of fighters can fight there AND HERE. This one fights while this one moves over here, while another group gets passports and flight permits.
You know, I found a rock on Sept, 12 and haven't thrown it away... and for the entire time I've had it there have been no attacks.
So, is my rock to be hailed as the savior of America??? So, Bush is President, so what? See the logical fallacy? One has squat to do with the other.
And I will point out that Bush had a security briefing that was TITLED "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States" in Aug 2001 and did nothing.
And was President ON 9.11
Selective memory, too, dear?

There is no solution that will be 100% perfect, however the Democrats solution was not "sane" either. Why would we pull the majority of troops out, then leave a select few to be sitting ducks? The democrats argument is that we cannot control the sectarian violence, so why would we leave just a few behind when the hundreds of thousands there now can't control it. Is it fair to the troops training the security forces to have no back up. I think we all agree this war is ugly, but another solution needs to come from this. We can't pull out just the majority.

From the way things are looking, the GOP won't have to come to a solution. I think the Democrats will take more seats next year, and have the ability to push things through.
A continued presence in the Middle East is only asking for more threats of terrorism in the US. Since when is the US the "policeman of the world"?

it particularly is easy, Obama has no longer invited them to the White domicile and the MSM maintains to ignore with regard to the certainty that they do have a well being care reform suggestion on the table, yet no longer having any potential in Congress very nearly each and every thing they do gets buried in one committee or yet another. After final nighttime's speech do I assume any adjustments? no longer till after the the 1st week in Novemeber 2010. then Obama will awaken on Wednesday to attain he could have been much less partisan and greater variety to the persons around the isle. to dstr, The GOP has presented well being care reform. And it particularly is all caught in committees.

Excuse me but we have had troops in Germany for 60 years and South Korea for 54 years so where is the outrage? Isn't it time to bring the troops home from those 2 countries. We also have troops stationed in Okinawa, Why?

Not sure what their solution is, but the "we are fighting them there, so we don't have to here", approach is a fallacy that lacks reason and shows no apparent connection to reality.
Our counter-terrorist agencies have continued to thwart terrorist attacks on US soil, even while our troops have been in Iraq. So it isn't because we are in Iraq that we haven't had terrorist attacks in America. You just hear about it a lot less, because it doesn't support the premise that we need to be in Iraq to prevent them from coming here.
Terrorists were allowed to attack us, because Bush felt Saddam and his weapons of mass destruction where a bigger threat to our national security, than the terrorists that Clinton warned him of. every other country developed ways to make sure their planes weren't hijacked, while the Bush admin sat on their hands thinking..."oh well, they'll hijack the planes, and we'll negotiate with them, and that will be that." The hijackers had other plans.
This is the reason you see so many people jailed prior to September 11th, geting 5-10 years for being stupid drunks on airplanes. Everyone knew it was coming, Bush was just more concerned about Saddam.
I say let the troops in Iraq who wants to stay, stay.
Let the ones who want to come home, come home.
Let the people who support this quagmire, go over and take the place of the troops who wish to come home.
Problem Solved, [since we know all the neocons will drop everything, and be rushing to the recruiter to be shipped off to Iraq./end sarcasm]

Your sanity is another man's insanity. That is one thing that defines us as human beings. If you feel that you are powerless then get involved. Spread the sanity or insanity.
Have a good day.

Since the liberals are traitors to America, You think they will turn America over to Sharia law?
I am getting sick of this crap. From both parties. The Answers are simple. Give our military more money better weapons and deploy about double what what we have now.
If Liberals will stop telling me that the terrorist are mothers and fathers too I might respect them alittle more.
We need to crush these asshole insurgents once and for all. Liberals need to stop giving them fuel by telling them America has lost.
