cause he doesn't give a crap about you. He may also be passive agressive and enjoys making you move the items to the correct basket. If he gave a crap he put them in the right basket since it takes no more effort to put them in the right one than the wrong.
Wash his whites with something red and tell him if he doesn't care neither do you. I bet he'll care then because it affects him - the one he DOES care about. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I'm an idiot when it comes to laundry, same as your hubby. We all have our special talents/skills which usually balance out pretty well in a relationship.

Just be thankful that he actually puts it in a clothes basket! Seriously, I would be so pleased if mine would just do that.

Clueless. That's why. The same afflication affects my husband, who puts dirty cups in the sink, which happens to be located right next to the dishwasher.
