when i was pregnant and very young iasked someone who was black and married to a white man if they were excited to see what their kds would look like. She got mad. But i was asking honstley b/c my hubby and i were from different races too and we were excited too.LOL

I worked in a tax office as a bookkeeping for many years. When I finally decided to go back to school full time I quit my position. My boss was MORE than understanding and asked for me to come back as a receptionist (part-time) during tax season. I agreed.
Skip ahead to the next tax season. Working on the evening shift it is my duty to call clients and let them know their taxes are completed and ready for pick up. I've done this hundreds of times. I saw that it was a married return and that one of the clients was deceased. While dialing the phone I kept reminding myself to ask for Mr.(so and so) who was the surviving spouse. I called and promptly asked for Mrs. (so and so), the deceased client. OMG! You can not even vaguely imagine my mortification when I realized the mistake I had made. A thousand apologies later I actually got out what I had called them for.
I told my boss the next day what had happened. She said she would call Mr. (so and so) to make sure no feathers were permanently out of place. Fortunately he was in a good mood, and chose to forgive my error.

aaah dont worry nothing wrong with that, everyone knows kids of mixed race are gorgeous, I wouldnt have gotten mad I would have said heck yeah I cant wait!!! but the only thing that comes to my mind is I had a set of Identical triplet boys ok and 1 passed away at 3 months,and at the wake a neighbor lady said to me oh its ok you still have 2 more at home. I wanted to hurt her if i wasnt so grieved and young at the time I would have exploded, since when does 1 person replace another?? idiot man that was 21 years ago and it was the first thing that came to my mind. She wasnt the brightest lightbulb anyways so I let it go

I really liked this guy who had made a small mistake in our relationship.. he was apologizing and I tried to say it's okay - What came out of my mouth was "It's okay, I'm not human.. I make mistakes too"... LOL.. I still laugh over that ...
Oh, and at a salon one time, I tried to tell the lady that I wanted a "blunt cut"... LOL.. let's just say what came out of my mouth was , "I want a blunt... " take cut and rhyme it with blunt and you'll get the idea... said it three times, trying to say it right.. so embarrassing...
Add another: LOL.. My mom wanted me to go swimming with her today, and in trying to explain that I just didn't feel like it, I said, "Well, I had a visitor last night if you know what I mean.." She said, "Honey, tell him to let you get some sleep every now and then.." LOL.. I was trying to discreetly say that I had started my cycle.. LOL..

There was nothing to be mad, There was a lady she is very short like 5'1 something and her boyfriend is like 6'4 and i asked her how they can fit on bed, even just to give a hug, how do they fit but she was very mad like crazy. but i didn't mean to hurt her. Some people are just sensitive.

When i go to resteraunts or movie theatres and the waitress/clerk says "enjoy your meal" or "enjoy the show" I'll say "YOU TOO!" haha.
