Jon, we differ on our definitions of war and crime. 9/11 was a crime, and the vast majority of crimes are solved in the first 24 hours. Of course, if you don't use intel, and instead go into another's country and fith their civil war, you aren't going to find him. UK has been very good at finding ALL of those responsible for ATTEMPTED attacks, because they are looking at it the right way. Also, Bin Laden does not lead any country, so it isn't the same as when we actually have a DEFINED enemy, like EVERYTIME we have gone to war, except now.

While I agree that we need to find Bin Laden. I've got a question for you. How often, during wars, is the leader of the opposing force actually captured?
It rarely ever happens during war. After victory is achieved, it can happen, though not always.
I don't think he is still alive. He hasn't released a tape or video in a long while.
I am an independent.

Bin Laden is already dead. How can anyone with failing kidneys go on like he has undetected for the past 5 years?

If you look it up 'Intelligence' has been looking for OBL since the bombings in 1993. I saw his wanted poster, so why was his family escorted out of the US right after 9/11???

You will have to dig for shallow graves in Bora Bora if you want to find him.
