The Clearblue Easy test says you can take it 5 days before your missed period, but I would wait until the day you are supposed to start your period to take a test.

the first day of your missed period. only a small percentage can get a positive one day before, even less 2 days before, even less 3 days before etc. There are brands that claim you can get an accurate result up to 5 days before a missed period, but again, only a small percentage of women can and do get a positive that early.

Do you take your temp every morning? If so, your temp would have spiked when you ovulated, and then stayed high until right before you get your period. If your temp is still high you could be pregnant

Some people say 10 -14 days after having sex for an accurate result but there are some tests that you can do a few days before your period is due.
Good luck!

Most of the brand name tests on the market claim to be effective five days before you are supposed to get your period. Their effectiveness increases the closer you get to your estimated time to start and if you are already late, they can be trusted to be most accurate.

I usually wait until my period is late before I start taking tests because taking them too early if you are pregnant is just going to give you false negatives. It is more likely to get a false negative than a false positive through early testing.
Best of luck!

I would wait until the day your period is due, or even a few days late. If you test too early you will likely et a negative, which will dash your hopes!

Up to four days before your period is supposed to start. The longer you wait, the more accurate it will be.
