We're talking about the most backward, uneducated and bigoted section of America. Whoever those people hate the most is quite likely to be the most decent human being in the race.

They are more likely than many other groups to vote, therefore it makes sense to talk to them.

I understand what you are trying to say, but your statement is lumping all of this group together and that is prejudiced and as you can see, offends.

What you should be trying to do is get a wider range of people to vote, not bad mouthing those who do!

I am seriously offended by your question. I am an evangelical Christian. I am well-educated and live in a major US city. I do not hate any of the Presidential candidates I do not agree with several of them but I do not hate them.

Many politicians choose to focus on issues that matter to Christians because over 80% of US citizens identify themselves as Christians. That is a pretty big voting block.

It you want to discuss this further, I would be more than willing.
