I have noticed the same thing with other questions. It seems that some people like to hit the negative for everyone else. Makes them feel superior or something I guess. I know that some will answer a question and then give a thumbs down to everyone else who answers the same question.
And to everyone who's reading ...... There's no such thing as a dumb question.

It's because people who read the answers you have received don't like those answers, therefore giving them a thumbs down.

because theyre noobs and they think that giving a hand down to every answer will make their answer more likely to be chosen as the best answer.
