I did not have to convince my Mom. I was 40 years old when I colored my hair - she didn't care by then.

Tell her that you really want it and show her the benefits of doing it. They should be mainly her benefits to make her happy. If this doesn't work, try to work out a deal with her so if you give or promise her something, she will let you dye your hair. If all else fails, just think of the bad things dye can do to your hair to make you feel better. Good Luck!

Depends on how old you are, if your only say 8 years old yes your mother has a sayso in if you want to dye your blonde hair purple but if your say 16 then your mother should let you have that space to experiment.

My youngest daughter tried to dye her hair purple once, I came home from the grocery store and she's sitting in the livingroom floor crying with green hair.

If your mom dyes her hair, go down the route of: if you do it I can do it! If not, research different dyes and present the research to her, there are a lot of different products out there that are not that damaging to your hair or whatever. Also, if you are trying to dye your hair blue, just don't try to convince anyone.

Explain to her that its your hair and that if something mishaps then you can change it back or let it grow out. Tell her Lots of Celebs and ppl do it with no problems just healthy looking hair.
