they do not believe in aliens when in Ezekiel Chapter 1, he describes a space ship perfectly? Of course in the fallowing versus he is given scrolls and the like but since when do angels or prophets travel by space ship?

Because that is the word of God! supposedly. I believe in God but I have not read the bible, that doesn't mean I can't believe in him. As far a the spaceship in Ezekiel, I believe that anything is possible. Why we are so ignorant to believe we are the only life in the universe is beyond me. I dont understand everything in the bible, but do believe many people can make sense of it. I believe their are alot of metaphors such as flying objects are described in a way that a person never seeing high technology objects, that they were described with the best description a person of that time had. I believe it doesnt take our ordinary thinking to understand what the bible says. Sometimes we need to seek the face of God to understand some of things that happened in the days of Ezekiel and the likes. We really need to ask God to interpret some of the things in the bible for us to appreciate them. E.g. Modern days Christians believe that a man must marry only one woman but in the days of Ezekiel, men could marry as many as 5 wives so this is a clear indication that just reading a passage in the bible that tells you a man got married to 5 women doesnt mean todays Christians should also go and marry as many as 5 and more.

I think the Bible is a guideline, but written many years ago and re-written it can not ALL be true. Also, how can any religious person (which I am) truly believe that God only made Earthly beings. As for why do I believe that the bible is true is simply because the bible has been pr oven accurate Thur out history by both science and historical facts.... Who says we Christians do not believe that space aliens exist. Of course they exist: the Bible is just full of examples of advanced technology which could only have come from advanced civilizations [not human]. I believe in Christ, by the way.
