Does anyone notice this?

How come the alaphabet has the letter "q" alone when in real life, whenever a word starts with a "q" or if the "q" is in the middle of the word, a "u" always comes after it?

Some few examples:
qu ote
qu iet
earth qu ake
e qu ate
li qu id
qu ick
qu agmire
qu artz
e qu ation
mysti qu e
techni qu e

Can anyone give me a word that has a "q" without the "u" following it? Good luck.
