I've had 7 total

Request previous scar tissue be removed

Request both stitches and staples be used (saved my uterus after car accident on way home from Maternity after 1st C-section)

Use Hospital with higher level Nursery Care in case of complications

Screen OB thru state Board of Registration in Medicine (most states offer search on BORM website) - if OB had malpractice suit(s) question it - if not open to answering or defensive, find new OB (even if you had OB for previous deliveries, check their license thru your state BORM - you may be surprised)

After 3rd C-Section, should use Maternal-Fetal Medicine High Risk OB - all warn strongly against several repeat C-Sections; however, you know your body best - go with your gut and trust in God or whatever higher power you believe - remind MFM/OB mothers with High Risk deliveries are who they are trained to care for and you put your complete trust and faith in their ability to safely deliver your newborn

Best of luck

Take Care :)

I've had 3 c-sections and doc says I'm fine if I want to have another down the road. It all depends on the individual woman and how she scars from it. (inside) They used to say 3 max, but that just isn't the case anymore. Talk to your doctor about it, but chances are you could go on to have several if you really want to.
