My husband and I have 2 girls we are expecting our 3rd child and do not know yet what we are having. Our boys name is picked out, that Will be Dustin Allen.
The girls name is a tough one, because we want to stick with an M name because both of our other girls names begin with an M. But I am running out of nice M names
Our girls are oldest Morgan Alexis and youngest Madalyn Anne.
Mykenzie is out as well as Mikayla and Madison. Very close family and friends already have those names. I think we started and M trend.
So I love the name Mckenna, my husband isn't to fond of it I know, but he has agreed to it anyway. So does anyone have any other girls names that start with an M that aren't to popular or crazy. lol
I would appreciate it. It doesn't have to be an M any cute name ideas are ok but I have to really love it to stray from our pattern lol

The middle name for Mckenna will be Arie (like Marie without te M) But I also love the names Allison and Ava for a middle name. Thats also part of our names all of the kids have A's for the middle names.
I think that it would be ok for a boy to have a different letter for the 1st name but is it ok to stray from that with a girl. Will she feel left out. I dont know if I am being silly about it. I just keep thinking if we have a girl and name her something other than with an M she is going to say why am I different.
Maybe it's just hormones....

My personal opinion is that Dustin Allen rhymes and I'm not a fan of that myself. Perhaps something between the two names?
I'm not a big fan of the same letter thing (as I am one of 3 T's...), but if that's what you want, my suggestion is Maren (sounds like Karen). It's unique, pretty. Melody is always pretty as well. Oh, and I know someone named Marissa, but then an A middle name doesn't sound right.
I don't care for Arie after McKenna because you're ending on a vowel and starting with a vowel.
So, my thoughts are:
Maren Alexandra/Alexandria
Melody Arianna (both have a musical theme)
and
Something between Dustin and Allen like Paul or something 1 syllable. OR, Dustin Alexander. :)

There's a little girl at my daughter's daycare named McKinley. I really like it! I also like the name Malia (or however you want to spell it), and I have a niece named Mckenna (spelled Makenna), so I like that too. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to have another "m" name for a girl, yet straying for the boy. It'll kind of seperate him from his sisters, which can be a good thing! A good friend of mine has all V names for her kids (Victoria, Vance, Val, and Violet), and while I thought it would get confusing, it's not. And while your husband may not like Mckenna, in the end he may grow to like it (and at least he doesn't hate it, that's a plus!). As for Arie, I love it!!!! And if you take the time to say it with any of the above names, it actually does go really well!!! Congratulations and good luck to you both...I'm sure your baby will be beautiful regardless of the name!

THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTION.
Well personally my PAPA and mother named all my sisters V names.
Vanessa
Veronica (me)
Valerie.
It is cute I love it NOW growing up I didnt care for it especially when my dad can not get our names straight and my aunt did the the same thing with her kids all R names and she cant get it straight neither. The funny thing is my brother's name starts with an R as well so my grandma goes nuts with all of the grandchildren have either R or V names.
It was cute until my parents split and my dad had another kid and she was not named with a V nor an R. She is an A name after an aunt who died.
I think she will not fill left out as she will know why and she will know that she was named after someone.
Just a little thought for ya.
I like the name Merina (marine-A)
different but not crazy. and it has a different sound like your other girls names

-Miranda- that is not really popular or crazy and is very beautiful. It means admirable and wonderful.
-Macey- that is such a cute name that not very many people have
-Margo- that is an adorable name for a little girl
-Mallory- so cute lol
-Meredith- a nice name for a girl
-Melony- soo cute
There are a lot of M names out there but these are the ones I think a girl would most be happy to have. I think you should go with Miranda. That name is all around perfect. It sounds cute, is not super popular or uncommon, and it has a wonderful meaning.
Good luck!!!
---Miranda Addison, Miranda Amity, Miranda Audree, Miranda Arlene, Miranda Ashlyn, Miranda Autumn, Miranda Avery, Miranda Abigail
I absolutely love the name miranda and hope you choose one of the names above for your lucky baby!!!
Good Luck

I like McKenna, but not with the long middle name. It'll be too much to write. Ava goes best. You could stay simple like Mary Ann, Mia Addison or Melanie Ava.

Well you may think Michelle or Melissa is popular, but not anymore. When I was growing up they were everywhere. Now my daughter who is 16 doesn't know any. Crazy huh. She also told me that Steve is no longer a popular name among boys. Everyone wants something different so the unsusaul is becomeing the common. I also like Merideth (may have spelled it wrong) my daughter is Megan. Mary is nice too.
