Yes, extremely proud!! Even with all of America's faults, there's no place I'd rather call my home. I hate it when I hear people talking about how they "hate America" because I feel that they just don't realize how good they have it. I feel incredibly fortunate to live in a country where everything I could possibly need or want is at my fingertips and all I have to do is work hard and it can be mine! We are all truly living the American dream! Having said all that, there are many things that I don't agree with that are happening in our country and with our government, so there is definitely room for change. That's just another reason to be proud to be an American, because we are allowed the freedoms needed to put change in motion! To the complainers, I say don't just whine, do something about it if you aren't happy!!

ahhh absolutely not...this country is becoming a complete joke...

our leaders suck (future candidates for leaders ''suck as well'')...we are own by the careless money grubbing big companies, that can never do wrong.

our currency is slowly losing its power all around the world to things like the euro and the yen...

we are led to believe we are free and can speak freely, which we cannot...all the pc crap we have to live by...

our health care system sucks...as well as our social security system...

we make nothing in this country anymore, we fiddle our time away on information...like that makes anything truly productive...we are outsourced all over the world.

we are turning into the fattest laziest nation on earth...our celebrities are our heros...

we are completely ineducated....our science and math skills are some of the lowest across the world for civilized nations...

we are the quintessential ''rome'' sitting high on the hog and just living off the good that those before us put effort into and we do nothing but break it down...we will one day soon fall, and loose our place as number 1...

Nope.
However I am very proud to be a citizen of the United States OF America.

America's the continent, not the country.

I am an American living in Canada and I must say...USA is not the best country in the world. It is definitely not the worst either. It is a good country with flaws, like many others. The one thing I don't like about our American attitude is that we think we are better than everybody else and we push our ideas on every other country. I love Canada.
