I call it treatment because chemical dependancies (drugs or alcohol) have been proven to be brain based additictions that can be treated just as any other medical condition can...with medicine and therapy. You wouldn't say someone being treated with Cancer is going into "rehab" so why would you say that about this medical condition?

I am from the country and it is called either
sent to dry out or sent to detox
I have not answered that call yet. I think I can still control it instead of it controlling me which is my kid sister's case.
