I would really like to see some examples of his work inline if possible, or if anyone knows of a book containing his artwork I would be grateful.

Look up www.artask.com and you will find a load of books to consult and also two paintings - 'A view from my studio, Rome' and 'A young boy with Drum'. Although this is a subscription site you don't have to pay to see this information. George Hall, as you probably know, was born in America 1825 - 1913

This is about all I could find, I'm afraid. I don't know of any books that have his stuff in them. Maybe if you tried searching on Amazon or somewhere like that you might have more luck. Good luck!
