The earth's equatorial radius is 6378.137 km, and its polar radius is 6356.750 km, using the WGS 1980 ellipsoid.
That makes the equatorial circumference 40,075.167 km, or 24,901.46 miles.

Here's a quick and dirty way of figuring it out: The earth rotates at about 1000 mph. That means in 24 hours it goes 24000 miles, which would be its circumference. That would make its Radius about 6000 miles.
How's that?
