the politcal voting system doesnt work. our votes dont count. example: George Bush's miraculous recount which won his election, never has that happened.
also your more likely to get picked for jury duty.

I have no idea why people don't vote. It's an honor and a privelege. If you've ever been convicted of a felony that is one of the rights you lose FOREVER...you can never vote again. People who don't vote have no buisness complaining about the government and the way things are run in this country (state, city, town ,province, parish, county, district, etc.)

EDIT: I can tell you why I dread voting dear! I don't believe the candidates tell us much about themselves because they are so busy trashing other politic candidates.
Hope this helps Dear, Pandora
I do dear! I vote everyday. Believe me when I say there are a lot of us who know we have a responsibility to vote for best answers. Hope this makes you feel better!
If you mean at the polls... I vote there too!
Hope is a natural by-product of Love, Pandora

I don't vote on certain things, because it is a waste of my time and honestly I don't think any one candidate is better than the other. It doesn't seem to matter whom we put in office, taxes have not gone down, defense speeding always goes up, and education spending continues to dwindle. It seems we have become a nation that is more interested in reporting on what politicians are messing up on. Oh my god, forgive them, they have perusal lives too.
And when our own president sent us to war, I could say this - I didn't vote for him. When our own government has to continue to argue when to bring out troops home, I can say, - I didn't vote for any of them. So as you can see I don't care who is office, it makes no difference to me.
Just don't blame me!

After years of voting, I have come to realize it is all set up beforehand anyway. What's the point? It's sad to convince yourself your vote actually counts.

because i hate politics and anything that has to do with a politician. its all a scam for power, wealth and fame. id rather live in a utopia than have a man try to control my everyday. i get enough of that being married.
