I can see people encouraging a stalker, it certainly would set one apart from the mundane.

I have actually had a couple of stalkers. Both turned out to be extremely harmless, though.

Yes. My ex boyfriend and I split up when I was 17 and he was 19. We had gone out for 2yrs.I left him b/c he was abusive. He would drive by my house and find me at social events like school football games, and not my school, then he would call me and tell me what I was wearing. And we lived in 2 different states. He did this for about 5 yrs. He was crazy! My sister ran into him at a store recently and he asked for my info so that we could catch up...."NO THANKS".

Well I remember once when I was walking home from school, there was this guy behind me. And he kept on picking up speed and calling 'hey you!' and everytime I looked back he was closer behind me.
but I wouldn't really say thats stalking.
But I do feel like I'm being watched a lot.

Once, a volunteer at the hospital where I work stalked me. He was mentally challenged, so I didn't press charges. I DID NOT, however, eat the the Valentine candy he left on my doorstep! I guess that's what happens when you are friendly to everyone.
Scary!

Yes I had two. I used to work in a domestic abuse shelter and there was this one girl who was mentally ill who was staying there and she started stalking me after I quit working there. She wrote my love notes and drew me pictures (this was a 19 year old girl and I was only 18!!) She tried telling me that god was going to save my soul and I wasn't going to go to hell ...
Then there was a guy who's wife worked there and he had purposely given her AIDS and he was a child molester and so on and he'd sit outside and watch the shelter and call in a lot. He'd try to start arguements then call the police to say you were harassing him! He followed me home one night ... I started to carry a gun at that point.

Yeah this one day this guy followed me around all day while i was driving till i stopped. I told him i probably wouldn't have noticed him if he would have shut those damn flashing blue lights and siren off. He gave me a piece of paper with his an address and a time and date i had to be there! Creepy
