Cats have something in their eyes that give them the ability to see spirits, so yeah, pretty sure she's actually seeing them. How do you make them go away.... tell them, just be respectful about it. You could say something like (out loud), "Only the living are allowed within the walls of this house, I bid you go in peace into the light." (bidding them "go in peace" means you want them to leave but you mean them no harm either)
You might even light a white candle... it reprsents the light they need to move into, as a lot of spirits who wander the earth do so b/c they're lost. They find us by mistake. Or could be this one's stuck on the land your house sits on.
Mmm...posted this and had to come back in here.... I keep wanting to tell you... it could also just be a deceased relative coming to check in on you. Your cat is smart enough to be able to see the difference between your body and a spirit, she just might not be able to tell what it is. In which case, you might also say out loud that whoever is there is frightening you and you wish them to go in peace.
love and light to you

People see a lot more paranormal stuff when their brains have alpha waves. Cats always have alpha waves. If there's anything there (which there definitely is) they will be a lot more likely to see it. A lot of animals can see ghosts. Our rats didn't like it when our dog visited us about 6 years after he died. Maybe the windowsill is warm and she's just thinking. Some cats just do that. Even if there is something paranormal going on there's nothing to worry about 99.9% of the time. It's even possible that your cat just likes being near you.

I'm sorry, but any time anyone uses the phrase "nobody believes me but my cat," you know there's gonna be trouble.
You may well have some sort of phenomenon occuring in your house, but what you describe just sounds like normal cat behavior. So, unless all cats are seeing ghosts all the time, you're going to have to provide more evidence to convince me.
As for making ghosts go away (if you do have them), you just need to remember that, as far as any spirits go, if you take charge, you are in charge. Tell them in no uncertain terms that you want them out, do it often, and visualize them leaving, and you should see results pretty quickly.

My cat suffered from the "Ghost Limb Syndrome", when almost half of its tail had to be amputated. It saow no more ghosts ever since.(sure was funny seeing it looking at the place where its tail had been and running away from its own tail, in a sad disturbing way). Seriously now, that is possible. Annimals are more connected to the earth than us, as well as the hidden primal forces that ballance it. So its possible.

ive heard stories about pets being able to see "ghost" or "spirits"
im on the edge when it comes to believing in ghost
there is so much "proof" out there that ghost do exsist but im one of those people that has to see it to believe it becasue im going to school for video editing and i can do alot of crazy things with film
if u ask me i would try taking the cat somewhere like a park or something and see if she does it there
my cat freaks out all the time but i think she is just trying to play
she will stare at the floor for the longest time like there is a mouse there or something and then shell pounce on it and simply walk away

Cats are hunters, and when there is nothing for them to hunt (ie: your typical house cat) they practice what is called "vacuum behavior". This includes chasing things that aren't really there, as well as stalking invisible prey. Basically, they are just keeping their hunting skills tuned, even though they don't really need to hunt.
Of course, she might really be seeing ghosts, but without being able to watch your cat in your home I can't really know for sure.

Ask the cat if she sees ghosts. She could just see something that startles here. Maybe here eyes are going bad. I'm not sure about how to make them go away though, maybe paranormal investigators.?.

cats are one of the animals that can definately see ghosts. some people believe they ward off evil. if they cant see ghost.. how are they suppose to do that.. anyways if its not a ghost then its probably something else.. like a insect or something. my cat pounces on flying insects such as moths, flies and butterflies. so sometimes their attention are drawn to flying moving things.

Animals do see ghosts. It could be a deceased relative visiting you, but most will leave when you ask them to. Animals act strange when there are ghost present. I have witnessed it many times.
