How many times are you going to ask the same question? A one gallon aquarium qualifies as an aquarium because it holds water.
It is not suitable for fish but it could house a snail or maybe some shrimps.
Repeated asking won't make the answers different.
If you want to keep fish get suitable accommodation for them. This means a 3g minimum if you want one Betta or a 10g+ if you want to keep a group of fish.
Just because you were enough of a sucker to purchase a one gallon tank doesn't make it a good home for any fish.

A Betta can be kept in a 1g container if the temperature is kept in their preferred range and frequent water changes ( 3x / week at least) are performed but a Betta will thank you for a proper tank with a viable filter.

i am absolutely shocked by some of these other answers.
nothing can live happily in a one gallon "tank-of-death". i wouldnt even put a betta in it.

goldfish? absolutley not! what a ridiculous answer. goldfish can grow well over 6 inches.
platies and mollies? noooo!
angelfish? what?!?! angels need to be in a 30 gallon. not 1 gallon.
no tetras. they need to be in schools.
DEFINITLY not danios, they are way too active to be kept even in a 10 gallon.
chinese algae eater? i hope that was a joke. they grow to one foot.

your only HUMANE option would be some shrimp and snails. no fish would be able to live a full, healthy, happy life in such a tiny space.
the ammonia would build up much quicker than youd be able to eliminate it. the fish would suffer. not only from ammonia/nitrite poisoning, but also from stunting. if you put any kind of fish into that tank, they will be stunted. their body will stop growing, but their internal organs will continue to grow, leading to multiple organ failure, internal bleeding, and the like.

No fish is suitable in or for this tank, it wouldnt be very happy. Struggling to live in a cramped area, sorry to crush your hopes no neon tetras or guppies, mollys, goldfish nothing not even a betta. All of those will outgrow your tank.

That's not an aquarium, it's my cereal bowl... My opinion is to never keep any fish in a 1 gallon cereal bowl. If anything, mollies or guppies. With that being said... A rule of thumb is 1 inch of FULL grown fish per gallon. That means you can put maybe one fish in there. You could put more, but that means cleaning the cereal bowl every day or every other day. Good luck and you can keep my cereal bowl.

No Goldfish....they need at least 10 gallons of water each and are very dirty fish. If you want to keep a goldfish in that size tank be prepared to buy a live plant, clean half the water everyday, DON'T use gravel, and give the fish a varied diet of frozen, live, freeze-dried, and dry food in orded for it to stay healthy. Even with all of this stuff you will still have to upgrade to at least a 5 gallon for this fish to survive longer than half a year or whatever.

Platies and Mollies are fine fish to have. But just remember that your size tank does not allow for mistakes. If you overstock, your fish will die due to ammonia build-up. So just make sure when you go to the pet store not to go crazy and buy a whole bunch of fish. Maybe 3 platies or mollies, and that may even be too many.

You are really limited by the size of this tank. I would not put even one goldfish in there! Maybe one paradise fish since they like room temps and are labyrinth fish like a Betta. another option would be just to keep some snails and shrimps in there.

That tank will require a whole bunch of work,no matter what sort of fish you get. It's just too small for anything but a Betta.

No fish is suitable for that tank. Even a Betta would be under constant stress. This post is exactly the same as your question, not sure why you felt the need to ask again... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AskLZFL3KIbGwks8y9K3ERrO7BR.?qid=20070718054712AAYcL2U. Your only option is to upgrade the little puddle of a tank.

Try a small Chinese Algae eater. You'll only have to clean the tank maybe once every 6 months. Also try Fancy Guppies (They're gorgeous!) or Rosie Reds.
P.S. You can put betas in with any other fesh water fish (except other betas), provided they are not aggressive.

Guppies. 2 or 3 of them would be fine in the tank you have.
