Terror is a tactic; not an enemy. I am tired of this political correctness. Let's identify the enemy. Tell me a better description for this war and get 10 points! But don't insult Muslims or you will get a violation notice.

The War against Radical Islamism.

But it's not like people don't already know who the terrorists are.

There is only one group that has unleashed violence and terrorism from the Pacific Rim (Philippines, Bali, East Timor, Indonesia, etc) thru Asia (Thailand, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Chechya, Russia, etc), Africa and Europe all the way to the US and Canada.

The war against al-Qaida. They're the ones who struck the US.

This could be broadened if another terrorist group became an enemy. However, since the US seems to be calling every extremist group al-Qaida now, they would also be included in this name.

The War of Terror? I mean, with all these "gut feelings", and bringing up boogeymen in the news all the time, our own government tries to keep us scared. What exactly are "we" supposed to do with these "threat level" assesments? Shouldn't those be internal to different agencies of the government?

How about 'be a terrorist, go to jail?'

Or 'zero tolerance for terrorism'?

It is a crime, not a war.
